ATI Physical Therapy has acquired MX Physical Therapy’s four outpatient rehabilitation clinics in Delaware. The clinics located in Wilmington, Newark, Bear, and Rehoboth Beach opened as ATI Physical Therapy on January 2, 2013.
The history of MX Physical Therapy dates back to 1945 and the establishment of the Delaware Curative Workshop, the state’s first outpatient physical therapy centers founded in response to the polio epidemic and the influx of injured World War II veterans.
“ATI is proud to provide the resources to ensure a strong future for these well-respected clinics,” said Dylan Bates, president and chief operating officer, ATI Physical Therapy. “We are committed to continue the patient-focused tradition of providing the highest quality of care in a friendly and motivating environment.”
