The injustices we have seen perpetrated against black Americans have to be addressed.
This hurts me as both a business leader and a father. It has become more and more difficult to look into my children's eyes and find the words to explain the historical injustices displayed toward people of color.
As an organization committed to healing the body as well as the human spirit, we will not stay silent. I recently sent an internal message to all of our associates voicing our commitment and support during this pivotal moment in our history.
Words of support and comfort are great to hear and see, but actions are better. I will continue to work with our leadership and HR teams to ensure we are hiring diverse talent in leadership roles across ATI. I will continue to reach out to our black leaders to understand what we can do internally to ensure these external injustices do not seep into our culture and what we can and should be doing to support our communities as they heal.
I am proud to work for an organization like ATI that believes in and nurtures human potential every day. I share this message externally so our patients and communities can hear our collective voice of support and get a glimpse of what we have been and will continue to do internally.
