ATI Physical Therapy in Downers Grove, IL to host meet and greet
ATI Physical Therapy, Official Physical Therapy Provider of the Chicago Cubs, invites fans of all ages to meet Kyle Schwarber at ATI’s Downers Grove location. The meet and greet will take place on Sunday, January 17 starting at 11:00 a.m. The first 200 fans will have the opportunity to meet and take a photo with Schwarber, plus tour ATI’s physical therapy clinic and fitness center. All attendees will be entered into a drawing for Cubs memorabilia door prizes and memberships to the ATI Fitness Center.
Schwarber was selected by the Cubs in the first round of the 2014 Draft, fourth overall, and finished the 2015 regular season with a .246 average, 16 home runs, 43 RBI, 52 runs scored and three stolen bases. He quickly gained popularity in the 2015 postseason, hitting .333 with a team-leading eight RBI and six home runs – including a famous blast that landed atop the new right-field video board. Schwarber began the season ranked the fourth-best prospect in the organization by Baseball America and was ranked the 10th-best prospect in all of baseball by ESPN.com.
An alumni of Indiana University, he was a two-time First-Team All-American and was named one of three finalists for the 2014 Johnny Bench Award, given to the top Division One catcher in the nation, and was selected as the top catcher in the country by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association in 2013.
